Text Message Terms
TryTabled is a reservation platform operated by 241 Main LLC. Restaurants and event venues use it to take group reservations, and TryTabled sends the text messages for those reservations on each venue’s behalf. Messages come from TryTabled, and the venue you booked is named in every one.
How you opt in
There is one way to join: you tick an unchecked box on the reservation form, under the phone number you typed, before you submit the reservation. We never add a number any other way — not from a past booking, not from a list, not because the venue gave it to us. Consent is not a condition of booking or of any purchase, and a guest who leaves the box alone gets the same information by email.
This is that box, exactly as it appears on the reservation form. Ticking it here does nothing — it is shown so the wording can be read without starting a booking:

What we send
Transactional messages about a reservation you made, and nothing else. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not text you about a reservation someone else made:
- A notice that your reservation request was received and is pending.
- A confirmation once the venue accepts it.
- A reminder before your reservation date.
- Notice if your reservation is changed or cancelled.
Message frequency
2-6 messages per reservation.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. TryTabled does not charge you for text messages; your mobile carrier’s rates are between you and your carrier.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and then stop texting that number. You will still receive reservation email, which we need to send to honour the booking.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your handset.
Your number
Your phone number and your consent to receive texts are not sold, and are not shared with anyone for their own marketing purposes. We share your number with the venue you booked, so it can reach you about your reservation, and with our messaging provider (Twilio) so the message can be delivered.
